OSE, a humanitarian aid organization deeply rooted
in its commitment to excellence has been a leader
in its socio-medical endeavours throughout the
century, helping underprivileged Jewish populations
as well as children and families of all origins.
Today, the goals of the OSE remain focussed on
helping children and their families adapt to their
particular circumstances, and on assisting them
both emotionally and physically with any difficulties
related to their health and psychological well
being. Protecting the child and his/her future
is of primary importance.
The OSE mission is to serve as a public service
organization on a national level. Under the associative
law of 1901and recognized as utilité
publique in 1951, the OSE is comprised of
more than three hundred highly qualified professionals
spread out in a variety of departments; social
workers, educators, physicians, psychologists,
paramedical personnel, administrative and technical
staff work together within interdisciplinary groups
in the various divisions of the OSE.
The Board of Directors, executives, members and
patrons of the OSE work in close contact with
its numerous professionals, ensuring the highest
quality output.
All divisions and departments within the OSE
are recognized and approved by the Ministry of
Solidarity, the Justice Ministry and the Ministry
of Youth and Sports. The OSE works in close collaboration
with its partners from a variety of institutions
(Inspectors of Child Social Aid, Judges, Doctors,
Social Workers, Administrative Officers) in an
environment of trust and mutual respect.
